AniChe 2023 Hecate’s Key Estate Vineyard The Devil Estate Bottled Gruner Veltliner Columbia Gorge $30

"As unlikely as it seems, Gruner is an up-and-coming variety in Washington. The Columbia Gorge is one of the places it excels. The aromas bring appealing notes of pepper and herb. A texturally rich palate follows. Lively acidity keeps it all in focus. 12% alcohol. TCA-free micro-agglomerated cork. 83 cases produced." NW Wine Report, Sean P. Sullivan
2022 AniChe Cellars ‘The Devil’ Gruner Veltliner- The 2022 ‘The Devil’ comes from the Hecate's Key Estate Vineyard and was picked midway through harvest. This has outstanding texture with a great sense of weight — yet comes off as very weightless. Kiwi, mango and Japanese pear flavors mingle with cashew crusted brioche bread notes on the palate. Don’t drink too cold to take in the outstanding flavor range. Drink 2023-2030- 92 points, Owen Bargreen
