The 2023 Puck’ combines equal parts Riesling and Pinot Gris. Like the 2022 edition, this is wonderfully salty and stony, with saline drenched nectarine and Pink Lady apple flavors, alongside wet slate. Yeasty and showing plenty of body, this is clearly one of the finest Washington Pet Nets I have tasted in the past year. Drink 2024-2030- 91 points, Owen Bargreen
The Charmat method produced 2022 ‘Puck’ combines 75% Pinot Gris and the remainder Riesling. This is wonderfully salty with pear and kiwi notes alongside saline drenched peach flavors and French bread accents. With light stony accents, enjoy this beautiful wine now and over the next few years. Drink 2023-2028- 90 points, Owen Bargreen
Puck 2022, 90 points. Named after one of the fairies in Shakespeare’s plays, the 2022 Puck is 75% Pinot Gris and 25% Riesling. Made in the Charmat method, the wine is fresh, succulent and bright, with notes of lemon skin and white peach on the nose. Medium-bodied, the palate is fresh, zesty and crisp, offering a delightful kiss of phenolic bitterness across the mid-palate before concluding with a food-friendly finish. Just over 4,600 bottles were filled and put under a crown cap. - Anthony Mueller, Robert Parker Wine Advocate
