Sirius 2022
This rich and refreshing Piedmont style shows notes of wild berry, granite, tomato leaf, and fruity BBQ. With dogged determination to please your senses and cleanse your palate for your next bite of pizza, Sirius has become a house favorite. Single varieties are aged separately in neutral barrels for 14 months. Note of spiced wild elderberry, huckleberry, granite, tomato leaf and uncured capicola on the nose. Granite, smoked blueberries, blackberries with grippy tannin and refreshing acid.
"The star of the waning summer, Sirius, who beyond all stars rises bathed in Oceanus to glitter with brilliance." -Homer

Sirius 2016
88 points - Jeb Dunnuck Reviews "The 2016 Sirius is another interesting blend from this estate, made from 52% Dolcetto, 30% Barbera, and 18% Zinfandel. Deeper ruby-colored, with impressive notes of blackberries, road tar, smoked herbs, and pepper, it's nicely balanced, has a silky texture, and present yet ripe tannins. It's a charmer to drink over the coming 4-6 years or so."
90 points - Interantional Wine Report/Owen Bargreen "This wine is primarily Dolcetto and Barbara sourced from the Horse Heaven Hills. Red fruits and spice box mark the nose. Fruity and forward, this carries not only good weight but excellent tension."
