The Devil 2022
The Devil is the second in a series of three Gruner Veltliner wines picked in the middle of our 2022 harvest from our Hecate's Key Estate Vineyard.
Mid Harvest. Federspeil Style, translates to "Call in the Falconer”, with lemon, celery salt, unripe pears and green stone fruits. Light florals on the nose, and hints of ocean.
Drink now until 2028.
Our Grüner series offers a snapshot in time and place-- each Gruner bottling was harvested a couple weeks apart, progressing in ripeness as we moved through our Autumn harvest. 2022 AniChe Cellars ‘The Devil’ Gruner Veltliner- The 2022 ‘The Devil’ comes from the Hecate's Key Estate Vineyard and was picked midway through harvest. This has outstanding texture with a great sense of weight — yet comes off as very weightless. Kiwi, mango and Japanese pear flavors mingle with cashew crusted brioche bread notes on the palate.
