Be Holden, our dear misunderstood teenager--all grown up! Named for Holden Caufield in Catcher in the Rye, this wine is all soft sentimentality beneath a brooding facade. At first, the wine opens up with dark cherry cola, but beneath the fruit I find cinnamon, coffee, autumn leaves, and a complexity that only comes from time in the bottle. Medium bodied. Curl up by the fire and enjoy this one with a good book.
